Reindeer hide that I didn’t buy the last time I was in Copenhagen. There they were in the airport at a lower price than I saw anywhere in either Greenland or Iceland complete with packing container and import certificates.
But I didn’t buy one.
In fact I forgot all about it till I was wandering through Costco several months later. No, they didn’t have reindeer hides. But they did have quad sheepskins (origin Australia/New Zealand where we know there are more sheep than people). I looked at them, felt them. The price was seriously lower than I had paid for a single one more than a decade ago at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival.
And I bought one for me.
