Again, not all that many pieces but a challenge in terms of fitting everything together and the interesting loops on the edges.
and then there is the cloth underneath – an old pastry cloth inherited from my mother’s mother with a circle imprinted so that you would know exactly how big to roll your pie crust.
I have three daughters who bake as well as a son who cooks. I am hoping one of them will treasure this bit of history.
