and quite a bit with the higher seas than the last time the Infinity approached Cape Horn.
Last night was a bit of tossing with once again water bottles making a dive for freedom out of the cupboard but only getting as far as the floor with distressing thumps but no wails of sadness.
We plowed through decent size waves and occasional torrents of rain for most of the day. Apparently the ratio of overcast to sun is 5:1 which made it especially lucky when for just a few minutes the sun broke through as we were on the far side of the light house with a few rays catching the Albatross Monument.
I decided to hit the Bistro for a late lunch and skipped dinner completely in favor of bouncing up and down the stairs in anticipation of getting off a couple more shots. Well, guess what? Turned out the best line of sight (since both Deck 12 and the Helipad were off limits due to 60 knot winds) to the lighthouse turned out to be my very own port hole on Deck 7 forward. Who’d thunk?
