It isn’t like we haven’t moved before, multiple times in fact. So it shouldn’t surprise you at all to find out that I have a few opinions on how I like things organized (a few? eyes rolling from various family members). So it occurred to me that it would be best to have things organized into groups and those groups needing to stay together in common locations. I have already mentioned at least some of this organizational frenzy, I am sure of it.

As you noticed – College Guy moved most of the studio/craft materials that were already in bins down to the garage. I had moved all my professional books to one location. This left multiple opportunities to go for more of the same.

So we moved (the Eldest and I) all the kitchen stuff into the dining room (which first required George and I to unearth the table) to join dishes and other dining essentials.

We emptied the remaining items from the office shelves to the living room, along with all the collectables that were hiding in various cupboards (with hedgehogs getting tucked in where ever there was room). Added additional photos found to the photo bins.

multiple years of photos.

Which just left the upstairs issue of media. Solved that one by hauling it all out of the living room and into the back hall.
