Two choices of refund for yesterday’s fiasco were offered: substitution of a tour this morning for those who had not booked any thing on the second day or a refund of 50%. Since we were already signed up for Museums, choice should be really obvious.
Sochi is not a cultural mecca. It has long been a holiday and cure place for wealthy and other Russians come to enjoy the mineral springs fronting this portion of the Black Sea. Apparently there are only four museums in the city. We saw two. The second was the private home of Barasov, one of the famous Russian Sopranos.
