Leif, Hitchhiker and other knit things

Last night I finished the Hitchhiker. With less than a couple meters of yarn left from a ball of 420, a tassel seemed to be in order. Now there is no yarn left over.

About mid-morning I finished up Leif. The pattern was interesting – there was a nice outline for the body of the vest and nothing except a buried measurement in the directions to give me the hood size. I sort of guessed, then found a mention of “11 inches.” Since I couldn’t find a tape measure at the time I am hoping that it is good enough.

Now – it is on to Charcoal Belle which will not be knit as writ.

That hitchhiker is lovely. Pattern on Ravelry? Love the hooded vest, too. You sure have been busy. I’ve just been making simple, novelty yarn, triangle scarves as gifts lately.

I like those cables on the vest. Very nice!
