Floor to Ceiling and now filling two walls,
each plaque lists the name, rank and date of death of an OIF/OEF casualty. Top to bottom moving right across the wall, day after day, column after colum the dead are recorded, remembered.
Not just the Marines, but Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard.
The walls were full as of months ago and I am not sure where the Association will expend next. The dead are still marching, adding up the sorrow of our country. One can only pray for decreasing numbers and an end to the rapid accumulation of sorrow.
