Hubbard Glacier

It was a completely bright and sunny day. I hung out on the 12th Deck for an extended period of time. The ship pulled into within .4 miles of the glacier but did not try to slide around the southern end and into some of the back channels like one of the small boats we saw.

Several people who were doing Back-to-Back cruises said that it was so rainy and foggy last week that they had seen almost nothing.

Given a cruise perk, I went along to a wine tasting. Coming of course to my usual conclusion: wine is, on the average, pretty nasty stuff.

Wine is really a waste of a good grape!
