Høllen Norway

Høllen is a small fishing village a 40 minute bus ride from Kristiansand. Someone mentioned a ferry ride so I signed up to join the party.

All the buildings are wooden in a choice of red or white. Figureheads which have been retired from boat prows now adorn some of the houses.

There are dogs on leash everywhere along with flowers tucked along fence lines.

Arriving back in the city I located postcards, stamps and the moose

My parents hope to take all their kids on a cruise to Norway someday; Dad’s 87, so, we’d kind of need to get on it, y’know… Hasn’t happened. So I’m particularly enjoying seeing your photos and descriptions. Thank you!
