There were a number of choices for tours, none of which I chose. One of the reasons is that Antigua is 90 minutes from the port and I was just not interested in a couple of long bus rides. As it turns out, some friends said that I should not have worried -there was plenty of entertainment on the bus from various passengers who probably did not have a clue that they were providing a show to everyone else.
Instead, I wandered around in the small port area looking at the textiles, people watching and otherwise entertaining myself including a fashion show of regional costumes.
The ship has been on the edge of their wireless provider – and by the time I decided to check on shore availability, the circuits were overloaded.
Instead, I just had a lovely day bracketed by glorious sunrises and sunsets….
