Floreana Island’s claim to fame is that it was visited by Charles Darwin. It also has flowers.
If the name of something is preceded by the word “Galapagos” it means it is an endemic species that has taken hold and adapted.
FYI – Post Office Bay got its name from having a barrel set up where people (pirates and other travelers) would leave out going post. Any one coming through would pick up anything they thought they could deliver and take it along.
