Mostly people are being quiet today. I am knitting, relaxing and looking at pictures.
In case you were wondering – that was a ring-tailed raccoon. They are not terribly big, but quite fast when they are not interested in playing with the people. Since I only had the little point and shoot, it was not exactly easy to attempt pictures.
Otherwise, not a terribly lot to report. I am trying to avoid all the “sad stories” that seem to be rampant among many of the solo travelers and some of the staff. Maybe that makes me a less than sympathetic person but even I have my sympathy limit.
Especially when I can head to the Windjammer, sit with a couple of wonderful Aussies from outside of Melbourne and eat Sushi.
