Ok, it is June and I should have started this page months ago. But given that part of January was spent in Morocco (and I haven’t finished sorting that out) followed by a number of other excuses… you get the idea. January 2025
1) The Peacock Tree – Modern Folk Embroidery. Started 1 Jan finished 7 Jan. 4516 stitches
(and then we went to Morocco for more than a couple of weeks which ended any finish possibilities)
February 2025 –
2) The Winter Phoenix – the Blue Flower. Started in the airport on the way to Morocco, finished 10 Feb. Stitched with the kit fabric & floss. Part of the Four Seasons series from ForbiddedFiberCo. Since this was paper, no clue on stitches.
3) Book of Vintage Things – Haunted Frames (Etsy). 18-26 Feb 2025. Birthday present for Miriam’s March Birthday 2714 stitches. Fabric from Ship’s Manor. DMC
4 & 5) January & February Mini-Village – Country Cottage NeedleWorks. (no clue on Jan but think it was Feb) 11-15 February. 3421 stitches on the same banner with January. Called for threads.
6) Love on a Limb – Adapted from an Autumn Lane Pattern as a birth sampler for Ilan. Started 6 Jan, finally finished 26 Feb, 7263 plus all the words hand charted in (both English and Hebrew).
March 2025
7) House Barn – Cottage Garden Samplings (2024 series)- 8212 stitches. started 12 Feb – 1 March 2025. Stitched on the same Zweigart 18 ct as the rest with BeStitchMe silks
8) Night Guard Cat – Fine Frog Stitching. 2-4 March (for a 5 March Birthday. 3564 stitches) Called for DMC on a FOTM from Ship’s Manor.
9) March Mini-Village by Country Cottage Needlworks. Same Banner, same called for threads. 3196 stitches
10) Lemur – Lindy Stitches – this is last years Endangered Species Series. 5-15 Marhc 6255 stitches DMC on 18 ct vintage stormy white
11) Starbarks – started and finished on the NCL Encore. Pattern from Plum Street. Stitched with DMC from stash

Peacock – InkCirles. Started on the NCL Encore Panama Transit Cruise and finished 9 May. Stitched on 18 ct vintage smokey white and stitched with 2 Threadworx floss and one 12wt Perle Cotton

Sagittarius. the 12th and final of the Nora Corbett Zodiac Girls. 10-17 May 2025
Claire – also Nora Corbett- stitched with Dinky Dyes silk on 16ct Berry Bramble from FFC, 8-18 May 2025 (the substitutions were from the called for DMC 310 and used Caron Waterlillies Espresso rather than Kreinik for the seemingly random strands here and there)

Fishys Going on – Longdog Samplers- Started on the NCL Encore (April 2025). Finished 5 June 2025(17,224. Fabric is 16 ct printed Aida from Fabric Flair. The thread is 12 st Sulky in color 4016.
Dr Who Snail – added to the congoing banner. 8-9 June 2025. BlackNeedle Society. (1099 stitches)
The Lighthouse – Cottage Garden Samplings. 25 May 2025 – 14 June 2025. Stitched on 18ct Vintage Smoky White with silk kit from BeStitchMe. 9320 stitches. Two side sets of “white waves” skipped because they really didn’t show up well.
Haunted House #? In their Fabulous House Series 15-24 June 2025. from Cottage Garden Samplings. Same floss and fabric as the others in the series.
