I took the eldest with me to Rewe. Maus had deferred saying it was too hot to consider eating anything. The two of us pretty much agreed. We picked up some yogurt, buttermilk, cereal, fresh vegetables and melon. The last thing on the list was ice cream.
Is it ever too warm to eat ice cream? Since we couldn’t decide on just one kind – this is what came home with us.
And, since they all looked good, I sampled both ice creams along with a bit of lemon sorbet that was open, almost gone and looking very lonely in the back corner of the second shelf. The chocolate and cherry was luscious; the vanilla/chocolate not quite as good but the chocolate sprinkles, flakes and syrup made up for just about anything else lacking.
If you think I progressed at all on the cowl, you would be sadly mistaken. Just have not had enough energy to even think about wrapping even non-sticky wool around my fingers.
