There are times when I get part way into a SAL and decide it is not for me. Or times when I struggle through a section and really wonder why I am doing this to myself.
Not so with this years SAL from OwlForest. Part 5 was released today and I happily finished the 1181 involved stitches. Like other sections, there were several blocks of color which made things go more quickly.

This part is the second (outside) house. It was supposed to be the “plum” color of the pavers in front to the main door. Instead I grabbed Threadworx 1042 which I like as much more house/brick like. Chimney was changed to match the house next door. I forget what was supposed to be used (DMC 640?) but instead used one of the Sulkys.
Tomorrow I will head to the next section of the Museum SAL from LolaCrow as well as finish the first inset page for Alice…
Meanwhile, we are headed out the door to the Valkyries game… and book donations (about 3 bags full….)
