Thought you might want to see a few more of the shawls which have been hanging out for a while either blocking or waiting to be blocked – a lot while in the case of some of them.
First up is Stacy. She comes from Wendy Johnson’s Lace Knitting book. The yarn is one of the Opal 6 plys out of Wolfgang’s Nothern Lights series. Knit on ~5mm needles it was a quick and fun knit.
Next comes Leaves which is one of the Evelyn Clark patterns. Knit out of Poems sockyarn on 3.25 mm needles I was surprised to find this singles less of a pain that I had expected. I certainly would not use it for socks.
Then there is Daybreak which took about 1/2 a 100gm ball of each of two sock yarns (both merino bamboo blends).
Lady of the Forest was knit on one of the transatlantic crossings. Out of – you guessed it, 100 gm of sockyarn on 3.25mm needles
And finally there is Lutea aka Big Blue which was going to be 100gm but I used 150 and still was not done which was why I didn’t finish it till I got back to Germany (had to go buy a fourth ball of yarn).
I’ll post finished shawl pictures toward the end of the week.
