For some reason, I had not looked at the list of things requiring unit clearance before this morning.
The list was a lot longer than I had thought. All the evaluations were now finished. My ration card was turned in and I had talked with the IMD crew. But I had forgotten that there was a mandatory civilian staff meeting this morning about NSPS. The wonderful (not) new personnel management system.
So there I am, ten things to do and no one to play with.
Since it was technically my last day, I treated the crew to pizza, thanked everyone for their good wishes and beat feet to the IN/OUT processing center on Kleber Casern. Making it in under the wire, I managed to all the rest of the paperwork finished.
I am not giving you photos – they all look like dead woman walking.
