Here I am, blistering sun beating down and hordes of hucksters between me and the freedom of the streets.
This puts me in a sympathetic frame of mind toward any and all cats facing a forest of legs between them and the great outdoors. Not enough to turn any of them loose mind you, I know better than most that there are always downsides to that kind of freedom, but enough to wish the way a bit easier.
Since I am not one for beaches beyond sticking my toes in once just to say that I have there are limited entertainments for me. I headed over to Wiki as a better source of information than on the tourist maps. Interesting to note that there has been a thriving port here since the late 1500s ( take that DAR). I might find a museum or just wander.
Break. Coffee break that is. I made the mistake of updating the software on my phone. Watching an iOS download and installation is even less thrilling than watching paint dry. Col r change is much more satisfying than creeping lines that mostly don’t seem to move while aggressively running down the battery.
Any way. I have a sunny day and a noticeable lack of tourists. In this location. Peddlers, yes, they seem impossible to avoid, but otherwise a cool breeze and good coffee.
And no, I have absolutely no interest in Cliff Divers. Spending 6 months in PM&R working with spinal cord injured young adults permanently cured me of any fascination with risky diving.
