Yesterday it was early when we sailed in. Unlike the Panama Canal there were only a few of us up and on the observation deck enjoying the light show.
This morning, there I was all set for argument. Norwegian, unlike the other cruise lines which I have been on bills all back to backs as one cruise. When I arrived in my cabin yesterday, it was conspicuously laking in materials relating to the Latitudes program. In plain english – there was nothing about my perks for this leg of the voyage.
So off I went to do battle. My first stop was the NextCruise Desk.
Hey Kimberly – I didn’t get my Latitudes Benefit Card this time.
Oh, I am so sorry. Here you go, and your water, strawberries and wine should be delivered today. Did you want to sign up for the Behind the Scenes Tour or Meal with an officer.
Oh, yes. And the wind went right out of my sails. Part way through the afternoon, my new OBC showed up along with the second set of Internet Minutes without any of that from the last cruise being gone.
If I had known that the OBC rolled over as well….
So now I know. Book NCL back to backs as separate cruises and you do get your perks for each leg. Book as one long cruise and it is one set of perks. But NCL only does one billing regardless of how many legs you have booked so that there is carry over internally of benefits from the first leg to any succeeding legs of a back to back to whatever….
